Alex, Khari, Iyin, Steven and Josh attended the 2010 National Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill Virginia where they celebrated 100 years of scouting with 46,000 other scouts from around the world. Kevin and Gary also celebrated with a one day visit. The scouts had a lot of fun camping and experiencing exhibits for 10 days and 9 nights and attending one of the world's most exciting fireworks shows.
One of he highlights of the adventure was Alex, Iyin and Khari forming a team with 4 other scouts and winning the sub-camp 17 volleyball championship. The guys had never played volleyball before, but learned quickly. After winning the championship they were challenged by the leaders and proceeded to show them that their winning was not a fluke.
